MAZON—A Jewish Response To Hunger in America

We at Amcha for Tsedakah do not endorse political candidates or parties. But we do believe that it is unconscionable that “twelve million children in America go hungry each day because their families lack the money to buy sufficient food.” How can that be?! The system must be corrected so this stain on America's soul is alleviated. That is not going to happen today or tomorrow. Today and tomorrow the problem of hunger in America must be addressed by getting food to the needy. NOW! That is what MAZON does and has been doing since 1985.

“MAZON (food in Hebrew) was founded to build a bridge between Jews who enjoy the blessings of abundance, and the millions of children and adults in this country who go hungry or live at the very edge of hunger each day. It is written in Isaiah 58:7 ‘…share your bread with the hungry!’” Do so through your Amcha support for MAZON.
