“Masorti, meaning traditional, is the Hebrew name for the movement of Conservative
Judaism in Israel. It is the umbrella organization of Masorti synagogues there.
In promoting the combined values of Conservative Judaism, religious tolerance
and Zionism, Masorti strives to nurture a healthy, pluralistic, spiritual and
ethical foundation for Israeli society.”
If you believe that Conservative Judaism should have an opportunity to prosper
in the Jewish State, then Masorti requires your help. It runs 50 synagogues,
a kibbutz, a moshav, the NOAM Youth Movement, Conservative Jewish groups in
the Israeli army, young adult organizations and much more. Also on the Masorti
agenda are programs in family education developed from a Conservative Jewish
perspective and programs in leadership and community development. And so is
legal advocacy, to obtain equal rights through the courts.
This great, uplifting work cannot prosper without your help.
