Named for the most revered congregational rabbi in Germany at the time the Holocaust began, a rabbi who refused to accept escort from Germany to freedom that he might stay behind with his congregation, the Leo Baeck Education Center's successes would warm its namesake's heart. The largest liberal Jewish day school in Israel, the Baeck Education Center is much more than that.

60 Arab and Jewish children from distressed neighborhoods are cared for daily at Baeck's afternoon day care center.

100 Arab and Jewish children attend together the Baeck summer camp.

2,000 men, women and children of all backgrounds utilize the Baeck Sport's Center.

3,000 G-L-B-T youngsters participate in events at Baeck's Center for Youths At Risk.

1600 students attend Baeck's junior and senior high schools. The high school recently received the award for being the best high school in Israel!

23 teenagers from Quera, Ethiopia are educated, housed and fed by the Leo Baeck Center.

1,700 people pray at Leo Baeck's Ohel Avraham Progressive Synagogue.

Leo Baeck brings together thousands of people from communities in conflict and then exposes them to the good they all possess. Baeck does so brilliantly and most successfully. They know well how to get a whole lot of value from every dollar contributed!
